At the end of 2016, I published (on a whim) a quick and imperfect survey called “Topics on the Homefront”. I asked Facebook friends to complete it and shared it in a few different military spouse groups online not really thinking about who to target. The purpose of the survey was to find out what topics interested military spouses at the time and to see whether or not creating a podcast would be a valuable endeavor not just for myself but for others. Many people suggested tweaks to the survey that would have been helpful, and regrettably I missed a few topics like finances in my haste, but as usual the respondents made sure to fill in the gaps caused by my haste in creating this survey tool.

Here is the link to the Google summary of responses. I am not providing any further analysis of the data but you’re welcome to comment on it as you see fit. Thank you for tolerating the format of the response report as it is not perfect by any means. If you scroll and roll over various charts – specifically the ones regarding interest in the topics – you will see more details about the results.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey and shared their honest opinions and insights.  I appreciate you more than you know!
